So, what is it like to live at Hannah House?
For those who decide that Hannah House will be their home during the months of their pregnancy...
...We get up in the morning and go to school, but first make that bed and brush those teeth...everyone shares in the chores, so you might unload the dishes or vacuum the living room...also, there's always laundry on your assigned day...eat breakfast, and you're on your way. Oh...who has a doctor's appointment? If you are finished with school there are life skills assignments to do; rag dolls to be made; meetings with the counselor, parenting teacher and/or life skills teacher; counseling assignments; and don't forget to write in that journal! During the week we will watch a few movies, have Bible study on Tuesday nights, baby-sit at church on Wednesday night or go to home group, have group counseling, or just sit around with the girls and have "girl-talk." On Saturdays we get up to a hearty breakfast and then deep-clean (everyone please!) the house. A trip to Wal Mart is a must as is an occasional trip to the movies or the local video store. On Sundays we all go to church, and on Sunday nights youth group meets. We plan meals together, and- oh yes- is it your night to cook? Never a dull moment at Hannah House. Lights out...you need your rest. Tomorrow is a new day!

We would love for you to come visit and, if you need a place to stay while you are pregnant and want to get some help with the rest of your life, the door is open to you!
